TANNA - MT YASUR DAY TOUR

Mt Yasur, on the Southern Vanuatu island of Tanna, is probably the archipelago's most iconic landmark. The locals can't remember a time that Yasur   wasn't coughing up its blazing entrails, regularly shooting lava bombs and a volcanic ash cloud hundreds of meters into the air. You simply cannot leave Vanuatu without having witnessed ‘up close and personal’ the Mt Yasur fireworks display that’s been on show here in Tanna for the last 800 years!

Soon after meeting your pilot at Port Vila Airport, you'll board your Air Taxi aircraft, no waiting around and without any arduous check-in formalities. After approximately one hour flying south, over the spectacular tropical waters of the Coral Sea and past Erromango Island you'll touch down at Tanna airport where you'll be met by your local guide. From there your Mt Yasur Volcano safari begins as you set off for the drive through lush rain forest and past quaint villages to one of the worlds most active and accessible volcanoes!

Enjoy a short stroll to the crater rim of Mt Yasur for one of the most breath taking natural experiences of your life! Once you've been wowed by the fiery display and after a delicious picnic lunch, it's time to head back to Tanna Airport for the return flight back to Port Vila.

TANNA - MT YASUR OVERNIGHT TOUR

It is said that Mt Yasur is best viewed after dark; the explosive molten magma displays are truly awesome. After landing on Tanna, you will be transferred to your resort for refreshments before heading off on the adventure of a lifetime to the extraordinary Mt Yasur volcano. Your experienced guide will walk with you to the crater’s rim for a sunset to remember and one of the most breathtaking natural shows you’re ever likely to witness!              

Later on, settle in for dinner and the night at Tanna’s best locally owned and operated resort, Lenakel Cove. The next morning after breakfast, you’ll board your aircraft, returning to Port Vila stocked with sensational photos and unforgettable memories.

LANDIVING TOUR - PENTECOST

Behold the now world famous Nagol  Festival from April to mid June, during which brave residents of Pentecost Island, in hopes of a bountiful yam harvest, make spectacular leaps from hand-crafted towers up to 100 feet high, with only vines to break their fall - the first ever bungee jumpers!  On your way north, you’ll fly over the magnificent, active volcanoes of Lopevi and Ambrym before touching down at Lonorore airport on South West Pentecost. Once you have been wowed by these death defying feats of courage and taken in a show of kastom dancing you'll     return to Vila stocked with awesome photos and unforgettable memories. Only after a day like this will you understand the true meaning of the “experience of a lifetime”!
